Filming and photography

The Museum Hof van Busleyden is a unique heritage site, with a valuable collection. The following house rules guarantee the safety of our visitors, the collection and the building. Filming and photography are only permitted subject to the museum’s permission and under strict conditions.

You may only film or take photos for journalistic purposes with the museum’s permission. You may film and take photos without a flash or a tripod. There are a few exceptions to this rule. These works are clearly indicated with a ‘no photos/filming’ icon. If the museum deems this necessary, a museum employee will accompany the photographer or the film crew on their tour of the museum.

The use of materials that cause smoke, fog or damp air are not allowed. Film or photo lamps and other lighting must first be submitted to the museum for permission. They may not be used longer than strictly necessary and the light intensity may not exceed 50 lux.

Moving works in the museum/adapting the existing layout to facilitate filming or photography is not allowed under any circumstances.

The museum may request to view the recordings before the broadcast and has the authority to stop filming/photography if the crew deviates from the agreed script without permission.
